Team
Alongside our in-house team we work with a dedicated remote development team and a wider network of reliable freelancers, partners and suppliers enabling us to offer a range of solutions and deliver the full agency service. Our team’s core skillset is digital focussing on websites, web applications, iOS/Android apps and online marketing.
Justin
Founder and Lead Engineer
Justin has been in the industry from the early days of the web over 20 years ago, with his first web developer role with well known full-service creative agency CHS in 2001, developing projects for Barclaycard, Virgin Atlantic and Lakeland.
In 2004, he setup his first digital agency with two business partners in Bournemouth that enjoyed early successes with clients Royal Artillery, Red Arrows, Coles Miller, the Redbush Tea Co and Spicers. The business was sold in 2009 and continues to be a thriving digital agency to this day.
In 2008-09 he worked with Wessling Creative Group (now Chromium Group) in San Francisco and their client Willis Lease. After returning to the UK, he began working as freelancer in London, setting up Vibe having the desire to return to running a digital agency. In that time he has worked on software projects for renowned brands including Continental Tires, Philips, Deloitte, Ipsen, Bayer, The Telegraph, River Island and The Guardian. Justin is passionate about design and building highly maintainable and robust software, specialising in Frontend and now Fullstack development.
Levi
Product and Strategy
Levi has been working in the digital industry for the past 8 years, starting his career as a web developer with River Island and then with M&S before moving into product management and strategy where as a consultant he began working with a creative production agency on web applications and mobile apps. His experience running multi-skilled teams to build, develop and launch software using Agile software development methodologies makes his experience invaluable.
He has brought this expertise with him and applied it to our client projects allowing full transparency over the project development process. He facilitates regular status, planning and review meetings with clients and between our internal development teams and freelancers to ensure all projects are on track and clients have a full view.
In addition to leading project management for our larger bespoke website, ecommerce and app development projects, Levi also heads up ongoing product development strategy for our own internal digital products VibeSite, VibeApp, EndPoint and FastSite.
Jørgen
UX/Frontend
Jørgen is a UX designer and front end developer from Norway. He has a Bachelor's degree and background in Fine Art, from which he uses his creative skills and knowledge of aesthetic principles towards creating visually appealing solutions for our clients.
He integrates his knowledge of aesthetic principles, such as color theory, composition, and visual storytelling, to develop visually appealing interfaces that leave a lasting impression. Jørgen’s meticulous attention to detail ensures that every element of a website aligns harmoniously, resulting in a cohesive and polished user experience.
As a Front engineer, he combines his technical expertise with his creative skills to craft exceptional solutions for our clients. Drawing from his background in Fine Art, Jørgen understands the power of aesthetics in engaging users and creating memorable experiences.
Jon
Backend (PHP/Java)
Jon Prosser is an exceptional full-stack developer specializing in backend development with a focus on PHP and Java. With an unwavering passion for technology, Jon has made an impressive transition from the construction industry to the dynamic world of software development. His experience and expertise in PHP, coupled with a deep understanding of Ecommerce, make him a valuable asset to our team.
One of Jon's standout qualities is his commitment to continuous self-improvement and learning. He dedicates significant time to self-study, staying abreast of the latest technologies and enhancing his skillset. Jon's drive to stay ahead of the curve ensures that he is always equipped with the most up-to-date knowledge and techniques to deliver high-quality solutions.
As a full-stack developer, Jon possesses a comprehensive understanding of both frontend and backend development. While his expertise lies in backend technologies like PHP and Java, he has a solid foundation in frontend development as well, allowing him to seamlessly collaborate with our team and contribute to all aspects of the software development life cycle. Jon's versatility and dedication to ongoing learning make him an invaluable member of our team, driving innovation and excellence in our projects.
Technologies we use
We work with modern web development architecture using state of the art technologies to build our projects. The technology stack we use typically includes a Backend application that manages and serves the data to the Frontend application which the user sees the “User Interface” (UI) and interacts with the “User Experience” (UX).
As a Vibe Digital client you have a range of options when it comes to hosting your project and we can either work with your existing providers in environments already setup or we can provide these for you.
All VibeSite websites and VibeApp mobile apps are hosted by us on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Wordpress solutions on Nimbus cloud-based platforms. The majority of our other bespoke projects are hosted in the Cloud with Vercel, Netlify and Adobe (for AEM as a Cloud solutions).
